What to expect: Pike Place Market is essentially an accessibility disaster. Bumpy cobblestone. Small elevators. Narrow sidewalks. Narrow doors. Steps where there should be ramps. Crowded and full of people who won't see your chair coming. Steep hills/ramps. GO ANYWAY. It's manageable. It's fun. And it's like a family. Our favorite vendors know us and they know the little things they can do to help out with accessibility. They can't replace the cobblestone, but they'll help make the trip enjoyable.

We recommend the sandwiches at The Three Girls Bakery. Don't know where it's located? Hit the Market and ask anyone. They'll point the way.
