What to expect: The Safeco Field Tour is, for the most part, wheelchair friendly. Elevators are used between levels, most walkways are wide. Some doorways are a little narrow and the press box isn't the easiest to navigate. Team Store is a hassle because the aisles are crowded with merchandise (and when the Mariners are winning, people). The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.

Go behind the scenes of one of Major League Baseballs finest stadiums. Check out areas not normally open to the public like the press box, luxury suites, field, dugout and visitor's clubhouse. Cameras are welcome.

Going out on the field was the highlight for us. Fans aren't allowed onto the grass, but you certainly get a great view from right around home plate. The only disappointment was that the dugouts themselves are not wheelchair accessible. But considering that's the only place on the tour your chair won't go and it really doesn't diminish the thrill of being on the field, it's a small thing.
