What to expect: Benaroya Hall offers wheelchair accessible seating in every price category. It's nice not to be forced into the most expensive seats simply to have your chair accommodated. For the most part, the results are excellent, but be aware that the wheelchair seating on the main floor is either in the third row of the Preferred Orchestra or at the very back in the Rear Orchestra. For a recital performance the third row can be intimate an enjoyable, even preferable to other seats in the house. But when the full orchestra is on stage it can be difficult to see all the players and the sound is not at it's best because you are slightly below the stage level.

All the seats are easy to access. There are elevators and wide concourses. The house staff is attentive and will help you to your seat if you desire it. It can be difficult to get to the bathroom at intermission from the Preferred Orchestra seats because of the crowds. Haven't noticed this is a problem from other locations.

The Benaroya Hall parking garage is your best bet for parking. It can be accessed off Union St/2nd Ave. The elevator takes you right into the lobby. Benaroya is also located right above the bus tunnel with easy elevator access.

Benaroya Hall Tours: conducted Tuesdays and Fridays at 12pm and 1pm, the tours are performed by knowledgeable volunteers who will take you through a history of the Seattle Symphony and Benaroya Hall. The tour is free, takes about an hour and is totally accessible.
